I had the pleasure of meeting Joey and Ciera Musicaro through a Facebook job posting. They were looking for a photographer for their farm and possibly more if the fit was right. I applied and when Joey called me, we immediately hit it off. A few days later, my husband and I went to their farm to meet them and take a look around. After an hour and a half of laughing and a tour of their farm, we knew we would be working together. After days of messaging, we went back out there to take some pictures and for all of us to sit down and talk about plans for the future.
You see, this amazing couple wants to give back to their community, especially the community of families with special needs children. Their beautiful daughter, Kayden, has autism. So in honor of her, they want to offer a free birthday once a month for children who have special needs. And I am honored to be a part of this, and photographing each event. There will be time where the kids can spend with the horses, cupcakes and some wonderful bonding time with other families.
We also have other ideas in the works, to include a home to renovate to use for these parties.
I am blessed to have met these amazing people and our newfound friendship. So here are some of the photos I took at their farm last week. I am sure there will be more to come!!
They're working on their website, but you can also reach them on Facebook if you would like more information on the birthday parties!
